Distance learning can provide a student an education in almost any subject without having to leave home to attend a college or university in order to acquire recognised and accredited qualification in the subject of choice. There are many providers of distance learning though not all are accredited providers so students considering enrolment need to research whether the qualification offered would be acceptable in the field for which they wish to use it.
